Branding & Why It Matters

Image
So why is Branding important and why is a recognisable logo a necessity to any companies success? (Kimbarovsky 2017) Shows that   "First impressions are incredibly important to develop loyalty;  48% of consumers report  that they are more likely to become loyal to a brand during the first purchase or experience." This means that for a company that wants to be successful you need to have a good brand and image of what you are selling and doing online. Customer loyalty is a big thing as this will generate more income for you as they refer others they know to your site and this will in turn create brand exposure for you. So to help with my branding I decided for my logo to be a simplistic but also clean and easy to identify symbol. From the logo and the slogan you can see that it is about computer systems. As well as this the square around the 'S32' is also the shape of the part a CPU would sit in. After doing some comparisons with other potential logos it was found ...

Terms & Conditions

Nearly every site online has a Terms and Conditions somewhere, they are a necessity in protecting the company as well as protecting the customer. Without Ts & Cs you are putting yourself at risk of being sued or taken to court. Terms and conditions are a necessity to our growth and ever expanding business as they keep us legally binding. System32 have included their Ts&Cs in a separate page as well as inside their checkout system, meaning that if a customer was to try check out they have to acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions we have set out. An advantage of having our T&Cs is that we can control who can post and comment on our website limiting the potential of abusive or trolling accounts on our pages.    ( 5 reasons why you need Terms and Conditions ) says  " The Termination clause is aimed at websites that have a registration section (e.g. user must register before using and/or accessing certain sections of the website), as you can disable or...

Additional Features Of A Website

With   'Approximately 87% of U.K. consumers have  bought at least one product online  in the last 12 months' (Kitonyi, 2017), Having something that benefits the user on your site is a must! Without even looking at stats online you can see that the way forward is setting up an online business and if you want a successful one, you need to stand out. I have looked at a range of different sites that have additional features that are relate-able to my site and the steps i took to further the development and features I have used. PC Specialist    ( PCSPECIALIST - Reviews, Review PC, Desktop PC Reviews, Review PCSpecialist, Computer Review, PC Reviews UK ) Alongside the extremely unique design and layout the website for PC Specialist, they have a full section dedicated to reviews where you can see what the item is that was purchased as well as the description/specifications of the item and even a quick quote from the full review.  ...

Social Media & Icon Links: Are they important?

Image
Social Media is extremely important within the online world. It would be outrageous not to have any sort of presence online as without it you are merely hampering your very own company. With a presence online you are able to communicate and interact with the community that you are trying to build. With even just a Facebook page for your site you are putting yourself in the light with more exposure as  (Fiegerman 2017) reported that "Facebook is closing in on 2 billion users." Now imagine not using that to your advantage and putting your brand on social media? and that is only one of the numerous platforms that exist today. and this is why System 32 are putting ourselves onto the web and not just through our site but branching out into social media to reach out to new customers and try to build our very own community of shoppers we have included links to sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Outlook. This will be beneficial as we move forward and begin to post a lot ...
